Quesnel Police Say School Fire Possible Arson

Quesnel- Police are investigating a suspicious fire at the Dragon Lake Elementary school last night.

A portion of a wall at the rear of the school was damaged by fire. A teacher who was at the school observed smoke and flames on an exterior wall , and along with the assistance from other staff and parents who were at the school, used fire extinguishers  to contain the blaze until the fire department arrived.

Damage was confined to a small area, thanks to the efforts of the staff and parents. Police are investigating the fire as a possible arson.
