Court Appearance Expected Today For Richard Zagwyn

Prince George, B.C. -  Expected to be in court today,  Richard Dean Zagwyn.  He is the 21 year old man who is facing 23 charges in relation to an incident in the Vanderhoof- Fraser Lake area last summer.

In late August of 2007, a hostage was taken and shots were fired at RCMP.  There was a three day manhunt that ended with an exchange of gunfire, but no injuries and the arrest of a  suspect.

Some of the charges Zagwyn is facing include:

  • Possession of stolen property
  • Break and enter
  • Dangerous driving,
  • Fail to stop for police
  • Unlawful confinement,
  • Robbery and 
  • Several firearms offences.

Give him 4 hrs of community service and probation for a week. Whatever the courts do don’t take his human rights away. Don’t forget to feed him.

Last summer? Must've had a lot of flat tires along the way with them wheels of justice. Surprised he din't get a lawyer to claim his trial took too long. It happens. Swift justice? Ha ha ha .
