Damage To BC Hydro Sub Station, $250,000

Quesnel- Quesnel police are investigating an act of vandalism at the BC Hydro Sub Station located on Morosoff Rd.

The incident which occurred Monday morning after someone had broken the lock on the gate at the substation. Upon gaining entry they then proceeded to throw rocks at the insulators, breaking them.

Damage is estimated at $250,000 dollars.

IF they are caught, IF they go to court, IF they are found guilty, IF they show remorse for their actions they might get probation IF it is their first offence, What a wonderful world! Like the song says.

That's not a BC Hydro station, it's a BCTC station. BCH is on it's way out all in the name of Liberal privitization.

Imagine how many people in need could have been given a helping hand with that $250,000 dollars!
