Prince George, B.C. – GeoScience B.C.  continues to roll out information that could be used for mining exploration.
Doctor Lyn Anglin says the results of the geo-chemical survey of the Pine Pass map sheet will be released on the 21st of May “This is the map sheet Mackenzie sits in the middle of “ says Anglin.
As for the information gathered during the “Quest” project, some information has been released already but Anglin says there is more coming on May 21st “We will be releasing the airborne gravity survey that we did as part of Quest”.
The Quest project  used  two systems to  identify possible mineral  deposits  hidden  from normal detection because of glacial till or  lava rock.
Every time some data is released from the Quest project, more mining claims are staked. “To date we have had over 850 thousand hectares of new mineral titles staked in that project area since the project was announced in June of last year.”
Anglin says there will also be a re-analysis of samples from the north end of Babine Lake, and those results should be ready next January.
The new airborne survey started flying out of Smithers yesterday as the Quest West project gets underway. That project will map an area from Vanderhoof to Terrace.
