The direct flight to Seattle would be handy for these kinds of visitors.
Yes .... Ottawa-Seattle-PG and Vancouver-Seattle-PG ... anything to save us from having to pay $400,000.

;-)

Ooops ... forgot, they are here to celebrate Victoria day obviously. The Americans go gaga over the Royals.
no, he's here to assess how successful their lumber strategy has been --- unlike Iraq this is a good news story for them
"this is a good news story for them" So they have come to celebarte their lumber stratagy.

American politicians are gaga. One need only look at the current fiasco that is going on for the leadership of the democrats. They actually deserve McCaine.

Cheers
he is here to see how our monarchy works when the strings are pulled in new york, right gordy our oligarchist for b.c. There will be no bio fuel industries that will operate in the sinful oil cartel that knows no borders, competition is a sin!
While the USA definitely seems to deserve McCaine, the rest of the world does not deserve a powerhouse like the USA with someone like Bush or McCaine at the head, not that Obama the soothsayer is any better. Never know which way he is going to be heading. Depends on his handlers ..... whoever they will be.

When I look at the USA, and how they pick their next President, all I can say is "God Save the Queen!" (Elizabeth II, not Hillary Clinton!)
Anyone else feel that our esteemed visitors are here simply to gloat over how well they, the goood old US of A, won't say what the "A" means in my book, have fornicated us?
BINGO, socredible. I have to start wondering how many inside the USA realize how absolutely ludricous that selection process is becoming these days with the media capacity we have in the world. The system may have worked 200+ years ago.

I cannot remember a US Presidential selection process being so drawn out and combative

You'd almost think that they are selecting a dictator to be ......

........ hmmmmmmm .....
BTW ... so why are these guys here? Where else have they been and where else are they going? Is this a tour? Or did they throw a dart at the wallmap?
Seems Wilkins visited Fort St. John last year.

Somwe of us may remember the following from 3 years ago.

"Paul Martin say's, "I am not going to be dictated too as to the subjects I should raise."

The Liberal leader fired back just one day after being warned by the American ambassador not to criticise the US in his election campaigning.

David Wilkins has been critical of Martin for slamming America.

But Wilkins says he wasn't trying to dictate but simply express his opinion on how to make the Canada / US relationship "better"."

So there you go Canucks .... the way to the heart of US citizens is not to be critical of them when talking about foreign policy.
They're here to look over our water resources before they invade Canada.
