Needed money to buy gas for his veins or lungs no doubt. But wait; isn't there a glass wall in the booth at this station protecting the minimum wager from harm by a$$!!@*$ like this knife wielding bandit?
It has been a while since I bought fuel there, does anyone else know?
metalman.

I bet that operator is going to be taken to the Labor board.
There ya go, the gov changin the laws on buying gas because of one incident. You watch, in the next year there will be more deaths and injuries due to people getting robbed inside the stores compared to employees being run over.
You know what peeves me off.

We now have to que up twice to buy gas. Once to give them the card or money, and second to settle the payment.

The business owners has to find a better way to do this procedure, and make it a bit more customer oriented.
They already found a better way... its called pay at the pump.

Yup works well too.
Yup, pay at the pump is not only convenient but I can gas up and be on my way much faster than I did than the 'old' way of going inside and paying the attendant.

Don't know why I didn't do it before the law.
People are still complaining about this law? Use pay at the pump. Get a cardlock account. Pick one . use it. The law isn't changing no matter how "peeved" you are.
I don't think people are compaining about the law so much as how it came into being. If a pedestrian is hit by a driver and gets hurt and suffers a head injury at a crosswalk should all pedestrians be required to wear helmets while walking? Bit of a slippery slope...

But all that aside, pay at the pump is easy and quick. Some folks a resistant to change, but this is one of the easier ones to get used to.
MrPG has the point exactly. Most people are lemmings, or they will follow the pied piper over a cliff. Rarely will they have an original thought and try to carry it to a conclusion.

If someone in Vancouver fills their britches we will all have to wear attends.

Canada is becoming one big sheep farm.
Well what happened? Grant's Law is supposed to protect the gas station workers.
Yes paying at the pump is great, more stations should have the option. But rise the $ amount. They charge almost $1.50 per liter for diesel and the pump shuts off at $100.00 most trucks take way over 100 liters.
