Prince George, B.C. – The Prince George Cougars have signed their 2008 First Round draft choice Jesse Forsberg.

Forsberg is 6’0”, 175 pound native of Waldheim Saskatchewan. He spent the 2007-2008 season with the Warman Wildcats Bantam AA.

“I am very happy to have the chance to play for the Cougars, and can't wait until I am able to strap on the skates and get going" said Forsberg as he prepares for his first training camp with the Cougars this August.

Prince George Cougars General Manager Dallas Thompson said “Jesse was the captain of his hockey team, the Warman Wildcats last season and we are very excited to have him committed to our program and wearing a Prince George Cougar Jersey in the future.  Jesse will attend our main camp in August and we look forward to Jesse joining our team as we start our exhibition season."
