PRINCE GEORGE, B.C. – Six hundred workers for the City of Prince George will be called upon to vote on a tentative contract agreement tonight.
The inside and outside workers, represented by CUPE locals 399 and 1048, have been without a contract since the end of December.
The workers rejected a three year tentative deal about a month ago as that three year deal would see the workers fall behind salary levels of their counterparts in other B.C. cities.
Details of the tentative deal up for vote tonight have not been released. This package was developed with the aid of Mediator David Atkinson.
The union reps are recommending this package be accepted.
