Prince George, B.C. - While Prince George didn’t set a new record high Sunday , with temperatures in the 29-30 degree range,  this week promises to be what people from the Central Interior have been waiting for.
 
To the south,  records fell like ten pins on the weekend.

Most significant record was;
 
Vernon Coldstream Ranch broke the June record going back to 1900.  Old
hottest June day was 37.1 on the 25th in 1992. Yesterday June 29, 2008
was 38.8. 
 
The weather office is saying a high today of 30 degrees, which would break the old record of 28.9 degrees set in 1982.
Just so you don’t get too smug, on this date in 1948, the record low temperature was 0.6 degrees

This weather sucks. Give me low 20's any day. At this temp you just end up sitting by the air conditioner anyway.
I love it. I can sit on my patio on the Northside of my house and drink more beer with anice breeze coming down from the Cranbrook hill escarpment (maybe its just a hill but it sounds so ON like).
