Terrace RCMP Say Experts To Study Human Remains

Terrace, B.C. - RCMP in Terrace say they hope to have more information soon on human remains found Sunday in a wooded area north of Terrace by four hikers.

A spokesman says the remains appear to be old but nothing can be said for certain  until  the remains have been properly examined.  "We need an expert to say how long they have been there."

There have been a number of people go missing from the Terrace area. The highest profile person Tamara Chipman is one of the people listed on the Highway of Tears, but police say there have been a number of people from that area go missing in the past few years.
