Prince George, B.C. - On July 6, 2008, four hikers located human remains in a wooded area north of Terrace.

 

The remains have  been identified as Larry VU of Terrace. Mr. VU has been missing since February 1998. He was 29 years old at the time of his disappearance.

The RCMP had conducted an extensive investigation in the months following Mr. Vu's disappearance.

 

Given this recent discovery, police will be continuing this investigation but foul play is no longer the focus of this incident.
