Quesnel To Allow Mail In Ballots In Civic Election

The city of Quesnel has moved to publish candidates for office financial disclosers. A special page is being set up on the cities web page which will allow the public to look at the financing that a candidate receives from various sources. The new page will deal only with election information.

At the same time the Quesnel council has approved a move that will allow mail-in ballots.

Those who may be snow birds, out of town property owners and residents of extended care facilities will be able to mail  their ballot into be counted in the civic election.

Those people wanting to take advantage of the new voting process will need to apply to the city.
