Firearms Complaint Results In Mischief Charges

Prince George - A firearm complaint on Solitude Rd. earlier this week has turned into mischief charges. A call to 911 said that another man had threatened him by pointing a rifle at him in a threatening manner. Police secured the area and began an investigation only to determine that there was no firearm and the call appears to be fabricated.
Tuesday afternoon police received a call saying that a man was chasing a female with knives on 1st Ave near Ospika blvd. When police caught up with the suspect they determined that the man had been in a fight with another man and had punched his hands through a glass window resulting in cuts too his hands. He faces charges.
In Quesnel police are also investigating a mischief complaint at the Motherlode Car Wash in the West Park Mall. In this instance the culprits had climbed the roof of the building doing damage to the property.
