Prince George, B.C. – A Prince George teen spared a Faulkner Crescent family from having to deal with the worst of what a fire can do to a home.
17 year old Amy Paul  ( shown at right in front of the home that had minor fire damage) was walking past the home when she noticed smoke coming from the corner. She ran home and had her mom call 9-1-1.
The fire department was on the scene within moments and the fire was contained to a lower corner of the house. (see photo at bottom left) The residents were not home at the time.
The cause of the fire is not known, the fire department is investigating.
