Prince George, B.C. - Looks like another summer thunderstorm has knocked out power to parts of Prince George. While B.C. Hydro indicates the cause is under investigation, there was lightning moments before the lights went out just before 9:00 to a large portion of downtown Prince George. 514 customers in the downtown are in the dark, including Tim Hortons, White Spot, Gold's Gym, at least one traffic light (at 6th and Victoria), the Civic Centre and the RCMP detachment is on back up power.
There have also been outages reported to customers on P.G. Pulpmill Road and in the Mud River area.
Here is the latest list of outages and the expected return to power.
