Motorcycle Accident Sends One to Hospital
Prince George, B.C. – One person has been taken to hospital in Prince George following a motorcycle accident on Highway 97, just north of the John Hart Bridge.
At approximately 4:15 pm today police, Fire Rescue and B.C. Ambulance crews responded to a report that a motorcycle had hit a cement abutment on the highway and the force of the impact had sent a passenger over an embankment and into the bushy landing between the highway and the access road that climbs to the highway from the round-a-bout at North Nechako Road and the Cameron Street bridge.
The condition of the injured person is not known. Police continue their investigation and were speaking with eyewitnesses at the scene.
Just 15 minutes before that accident another rider was injured when they dumped their bike at 5th and Carney. The rider was believed suffering from possible rib injuries and road rash.
