Prince George RCMP discovered the body  just before 11 Sunday morning  when they were responding to a report that a man had been assaulted.

While saying there is no threat to  public safety,   police  have not indicated if the man was indeed a victim of foul play.  At this point they are only saying the death is “suspicious”.

Prince George RCMP Major Crimes Section, and the Forensic Identification Section have been  working the scene.  The BC Coroner has also been  involved.

Anyone  who may  have information on this  death is asked to contact the Prince George RCMP   or Crime Stoppers.
