Bulmer Cut, Connolly Kept

Prince George, B.C. – Former Prince George Cougar Brett Connolly has made the grade and will play on Team Canada’s Junior team. However, Prince George native Brett Bulmer was cut from the team this morning.
Other WHL players to make the 22 player roster are:
Brendan Gallagher (Vancouver Giants),
Quinton Howden (Moose Jaw Warriors),
Ryan Murray (Everett Silvertips),
Mark Pysyk (Edmonton Oil Kings), and
Mark Stone (Brandon Wheat Kings)
Four members of this year’s roster – Brett Connolly , Quinton Howden (Oak Bank, Man./Moose Jaw, WHL), Jaden Schwartz (Wilcox, Sask./Colorado College, CCHA) and Mark Visentin (Waterdown, Ont./Niagara, OHL) – helped Canada earn the silver medal at the 2011 IIHF World Junior Championship in Buffalo, N.Y.
