Police Continue to Look for Info on Fatal Crash
Prince George, B.C.- The investigation into a fatal crash on Highway 16 west continues.
29 year old Jennifer Joseph of Fort St. James died when the vehicle, in which she was a passenger, lost control, crossed the centre line and collided, head on with another vehicle around 6 last night.
The weather and road conditions at the time of the collision were treacherous.
The vehicle, a 2006 Hyundai Accent was driven by a 28 year old female, also from Fort St. James. The driver, along with two other passengers, a 9 year old girl and a 2 month infant were transported to St. John Hospital in Vanderhoof with non life threatening injuries.
The four occupants of the 1997 GMC Jimmy were taken to University Hospital of Northern British Columbia Hospital in Prince George, were they were treated for minor injuries.
Anyone who may have witnessed this crash, or may have information regarding the collision is asked to call the RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
