New Manager at Honda North

Prince George, B.C.- Another change in management at a Prince George business.
Dan Walls has resigned from his position as Manager of Honda North vehicle sales to take on a new job in Edmonton.
The new Manager of the dealership on 1st Avenue is Dexter Tabora. ( in photo at right)
Dexter has lived in Prince George for 30 years and brings 10 years of experience in the automobile business to his new position as part of the Wood Wheaton Auto Group.
Dexter starts his new position next week on Tuesday the 27th and invites all of his friends and past clients to drop in.
This change is the third significant business shuffle in Prince George in a little over a week with news Hugh Nicholson is leaving the Citizen, and Phil Beaulieau is moving away from the Free Press and taking a post with the 2015 Winter Games.

What a loss for Prince George. I have know Dan Walls for many years. He’s a genuine nice guy and a good guy to do business with.

I find it a bit weird that this is reported though. Sorry but not my idea of news.

I have to agree with bornandbred on this one. I have known Mr Walls and although he is a decent person, his positions I feel were gained through connections rather than ability to do the job and make a profit. The old fred walls and sons dealership,(we know what happened there) budget rent a car on first ave and then Honda North….all those businesses took a hit under his management. Sure, the car business can be either feast or famine but qualifications and a proven track record go a long way….
i guess he,Walls, has a following. maybe some of the people in P.G. will go to Edmonton to buy from him. your right not newsworthy. makes one wonder why it was written about though.
lol, I think lmorge nailed it. Dan Walls drove Budget Car Sales into the ground. That said, the business itself is a pretty lame venture, but he certainly wasn’t able to do much to make it a viable business in PG. Absolutely a good person, and its too bad that he’s leaving town, but why in the hell is this news?! A worker was let go from my organization this week, want another story Opinion250?

So is Dexter Tabora chopped liver? Does he not deserve equal time?
Oh, is Dexter related to Tony Tabora, the musician?
If so, he is probably a great supporter of the PAC. ;-)
The Walls’ family carried our family for many years in vehichles. I am so proud I bought a Honda now. Good luck Dan. Come back for a visit sometime. P.S. every one should drive a honda….go take one out for a bit…..

Yes gus,Dexter Tabora is Tony Tabora’s son.I don’t know if either one of them actually care about the PAC or not.
