Enderby, B.C.-  A volunteer firefighter has died in a blast  at the Sperlich Log  Construction site in Enderby.

The Enderby fire department was called out to a fire at the Sperlich Log Construction site at about 4:00am.  Shortly after 5:00 am it appeared the fire was under control when there was an explosion in a shed on the site.  One firefighter died as a result of the blast, a second  has been injured, although his  injuries are not  life threatening.
