Prince George, B.C.- A man from Mackenzie suffered minor injuries when the Alberta registered truck he was driving went off highway 97 north yesterday, north of Bear Lake. 

 

The truck  was northbound when it went off the road to the right, hit the ditch and rolled. 

 

The driver asked a passing motorist to contact police as cell service was not available in the crash area.

 

When emergency crews arrived on scene, there was no sign of the driver.

 

RCMP later received a call from a man in Mackenzie saying he was the driver of the truck, that he had suffered only minor injuries and found his own way home to Mackenzie.
