Sound of Shots Under Investigation

Prince George, B.C.- RCMP have set up a perimeter in the Westwood-Ferry Avenue area of Prince George following a call  from a person who said they had heard shots being fired.

The call came in about 4:00 this afternoon.

Although a perimeter has been established, Police have not been able to  confirm that shots had been fired, nor have they located a possible victim.  

Police say it is possible the sound  came from fireworks, but they are investigating to make certain one way or the other.

Fireworks,

I was up at ginters last night and saw them over the westwood area.

yup fireworks, saw them from my front window.
