Now you can simply text “PGTIPS” and the information you wish to provide, to CRIMES (274637) from any cell phone or device with SMS capability. A number of tips were received this way over the past year, and it is expected this means of communication will see an increase. The regular Crime Stoppers line is still in use, 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or provide a web tip at the newly updated website, www.pgcrimestoppers.bc.ca

Number of days spent in jail by thieving meth dealing scumbags = not enough!
I whole heartedly agree!
Absolutely frustrating for the police officer. Gets through the charge approval process using sections of the Criminal Code, then the other sections of the Code and case law let the goof back out. Sooner or later he or she is kept in, but it seems sometimes it takes forever.
A fitting record for the crime capital of Canada.
$220 per arrest? That is a great return on investment! Serious consideration should be given in doubling or trebling the reward money. Give the people in the ‘hood an honest way to make a buck, and clear out some of the scumbags at the same time.
Actually only $177.50/arrest. An even better deal.
