Ain’t that the truth!! Americans are so ignorant of anything outside their borders.

Let’s not be too hard on the Yankees.

I’ve received five phone calls from Lower Mainland perspective buyers for a vehicle I have for sale and not one of them had a clear idea of where Cache Creek is located!

Having traveled in Mexico extensively as a boy, I can attest to the fact that, back then at least, there were Americans who did not know where BC and even Canada were. I remember one Yanky say, “Canada? Which state is that in?” and was genuinely perplexed to hear that it was a rather large country in North America.
They are, by and large, an ignorant lot.

I agree with opine, when dealing with work related issues north of Robson St. people in the lower mainland are generally clueless.

Here we have the largest reserves of oil second to only Saudi Arabia. Reason for our best in world Economy. All at risk because of the leftards and their brothers in arms anarchists. Pipelines do not run over Wildlife, and safest form of transporting Oil. Just get on with it and ge the oil flowing

Here we have a pipeline for delivering oil to the Chinese while BC takes all the risk. The Chinese refuse to pay any carbon tax and this week told Europe to forget charging any Chinese airlines the carbon tax.

So we pay the carbon tax and they don’t… they pay more for the resource without all the taxes, and we pay even more to match their price offered plus all the taxes… the proponents don’t want this foreign market pricing to be talked about.

This pipeline is about giving the Canadian energy advantage to communist China with our resources, so they can undercut us on energy as well as labor and the environment.

Just what is the purpose of a carbon tax?

To line government pockets so they have a slush fund for their political friends disguised as saving the planet.
