My thoughts and prayers go out to the workers on site, as well as to their families and friends. This is a tight knit community, and I am sure the support will be there as well as from the surrounding communities. I can only hope that the injuries are not severe, and that the damage to the mill is not extensive.
I understand that hospitals from Smithers to Prince George have been put on alert and bringing in staff. I too hope that this is just a precaution and that injuries are limited.
Been thru Burns Lake quite a few times in last few months (last timeon thursday) with my trips to the Bulkley Valley so feel an attachment to the place. Feel for the community.
