Building Permits Off to a Positive Start for 2012

Thursday, January 26, 2012 @ 3:59 AM
Prince George, B.C.- The new year is off to a good start when it comes to building permits in Prince George.

In the first two weeks of January,  permits for work valued at nearly $2.4 million dollars have been issued. That’s nearly three times the value of permits issued in the same two week period last year ($767 thousand).

The single highest valued project now underway is the tenant improvements for the Mr. Mike’s restaurant at the corner of Ferry and Highway 16.   The changes to the building that used to be home to East Side Mario’s are estimated to be worth $500 thousand dollars.
