70 treated in Chlorine Incident

Williams Lake, BC- Health officials in Williams Lake say 70 people were taken to hospital to be treated in the wake of chlorine exposure incident.
Most of those taken to hospital were children aged 12 and under, who were taking part in a swimming competition at the Cariboo Memorial Recreation complex when they were exposed to the chlorine.
Most of those who went to hospital suffered eye or respiratory irritation.
Only a few patients remain in hospital.
There has been no information yet on how the chlorine was released.
