Prince George B.C.- Men’s Health  is the focus of  special health screenings set for today  the University of Northern B.C.

From 9:30 this morning to  3 this afternoon,  a special booth will be set up in the Wintergarden at UNBC.

The Northern Health Men’s Health Program is teaming up with the University’s Wellness Centre to check  for a variety of  conditions such  as glucose levels and blood  pressure but for the first time, the screening will also check for sexually transmitted infections as well as  make mental health evaluations.

This is a continuation of the men’s health program  which has been holding  men’s health screenings across the North.

So far, more than 500 people have taken part in screenings.
