Five Arrested, Victim In Surgery In Overnight Stabbing

Prince George, B.C. – Prince George RCMP say five people are in custody in connection with an early-morning stabbing in the city. Meantime the victim is fighting for his life at University Hospital.
Police were called to an apartment on Upland Street at 2:33 this morning after getting a report of an assault with a weapon. They say six males were in the suite when one of them was stabbed. The victim made his way out into the street where he was found by responding officers. The 18-year-old male was rushed to hospital suffering life-threatening injuries. At last word he was still undergoing surgery.
A police spokesperson says the other five males who were in the apartment were located and arrested. All five are still in custody and police believe they have identified the person who was responsible for the stabbing.
The interrogation and investigation is continuing.
