Expensive Joy Ride On A Snow Machine

Monday, March 5, 2012 @ 1:42 PM
Prince George, BC- A snowmobile rider acting up in the rear alley of the Hart Centre Mall Saturday night has resulted in  numerous charges.
A member of the traffic services watched a snowmobile being operated in the rear alley on West Austin Rd. When he attempted to pull the rider over he fled to a residential property where he collided with a parked logging truck.
Police arrested the man and found him to be intoxicated by alcohol and marihuana. The 21 year old was taken downtown where he provided two samples in excess of twice the legal limit.
But it didn’t end there. The police officer on checking the VIN on the snowmobile discovered that it had been stolen January 2nd from a home on Muemann Rd outside the city.
The man has been released charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle. Impaired over .08, possession of property obtained by crime. He also was given a $598.00 ticket for having no insurance.
The snow machine has now been returned to its owner.
Police caution snowmobilers that driving while impaired on a sled carries the same criminal code charges as a vehicle.

It should of stated, “what was left of it was returned to the owner”.

No Pylot, Darwin was right!

I’m still laughing, holy cow, what a way to be stupid, dumb, and stupider!
Good on the member who nailed him.

Nice that they caught one of them at least! There are many more out there too.

This story sums up and confirms the intellectual ability of the common thief.
He probably lives at home, with his very disappointed parents.
