Paint Ball Gun Causes Big Fuss

Prince George- A report that a young teenager had tossed a weapon onto the sidewalk near the intersection of Queensway and 17th at noon today brought numerous police vehicles to the scene but no arrests.
It turns out that the gun in question was a paint gun. Young man was observed pulling what appeared to be a gun and tossing the item as a police cruiser approached.
Numerous police cars attended and a 15 year old male, a 16 year old female, and an 18 year old man were detained by police and then released after it was discovered that the gun in question was a paint ball gun.
The paint gun was seized and the three released without charges,

The liberals in this country have brought us to the point where anything even resembling a weapon puts us into a hysteria.
In a world where it’s just as possible that could have been a real gun, the risk to the public is too high not to respond. Easy to sit in your computer chair and call it an over reaction, but if there was someone with what appeared to be a fire arm threatening you or your family, you’d want the same response.
Incredibly stupid on the part of these youth and the adult. Displaying what appears to be a weapon could get you killed (and I don’t mean just that police could think it is real shoot you either).

I too wonder why the paint ball gun was seized… its not illegal to have a paint ball gun, so must be dumb people that stole it or just don’t know their rights? They should go down and demand to have their gun returned IMO.
