Prince George, BC – The Prince George Community Policing is benefiting from another partnership.
Load’em Up Petroleums, a local business, has agreed to partner with Community Policing and will be providing fuel for the Community Policing, sponsored vehicles.
"It’s great to be able to assist Community Policing with a basic need like fuel, and be a partner in crime prevention," said Dave Martin, Manager, Load’em Up Petroleums in the BCR Industrial Site.
Cpl. Carissa Hornoi, who oversees Community Policing, says this sponshorship will fulfill an immediate need by Community Policing.
Community Policing has three sponsored vehicles, donated by Ken Goss, Wood Wheaton and Hub City Motors (Volkswagen Canada). These vehicles are used by staff and volunteers to carry out the many crime prevention programs and services like Block Watch, Citizens Patrol and home/business security evaluations, offered free to the residents and businesses of Prince George.
