Prince George – A 17 year old youth was taken into custody today after two residents of a trailer park said they had a hand gun pointed at them
Officers attended the area of the Evergreen Trailer Park on North Nechako Road at 7.30 this morning. Initial indication was that a male had pointed a hand gun at two persons driving by in a vehicle. A description of the male was provided to investigators.
Within a few minutes, General Duty officers located and arrested a 17 year old male thought to be responsible for the offence. The intoxicated male was searched and a pistol style pellet gun was located.
The youth was arrested and taken into custody without incident. The investigation is on-going and firearms related charges will likely be recommended.
The Prince George RCMP would like to remind the public that firearms charges can be laid in relation to persons using imitation guns inappropriately or in the commission of another offence.

A well spent spring break for that kid.
Even a fake gun should’t be pointed at a person. Sorta brain dead that one. I would have to blame it on parents that don’t know how to raise kids.
17 years old and drunk @ 7:30 am on a Wednesday? I suspect that his parents have been essentially absent for the past 17 years.
How sad indeed. 17 years old and drunk so early in the morning. What are his parents teaching him?
Learn by example? So sad.
