Fight At Party Leaves One With Stab Wounds

Friday, March 23, 2012 @ 5:39 PM

Prince George, BC – Prince George RCMP say a 19-year-old city man was taken to hospital early this morning after being stabbed during an altercation that broke out at a residential party.

Officers were called to a home in the 300-block of Burden Street just after 1am this morning and discovered the victim suffering a stab wound to his back.  He was transported to the University Hospital of Northern BC and is expected to make a full recovery.

The stabbing apparently occurred when a fight broke out between a number of party-goers at the residence.  The investigation is continuing.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Prince George detachment at 250-561-3300, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

Sell more alcohol. Sell Sell Sell. Ethanol is a far worse alternative than heroin or crystal meth. Wonder how kids get a hold of the stuff in our society which would not allow a liquor establishment one block from the new police station. Fight controlled use of alcohol and feed it to kids. Yup. Good ethics.

That doesn’t even make any sense. Are you drunk?

That’s not a knife……”Yes, it is. I stole it” Fair enough……

Hey western, that “kid” was legal drinking age…not that big of a mystery how he got a hold of some alcohol!

Must be nice being able to party on a Thursday night and not have to work the next day.
