Wells to Head Up City’s Planning Department

Wednesday, March 28, 2012 @ 4:39 PM
Prince George, B.C.- Opinion250 has learned the new Acting Director for the Planning Department  for the City of Prince George  is Ian Wells.

Wells heads up the real estate division at City Hall, and is expected to continue with that responsibility as well as lead the planning department.

While Wells is named as “Acting Director” it  is not known  if City Hall will actively recruit for a new person to take over the planning department. It is expected Wells will be in charge until the end of this year as there will be cost savings with the departure of Dan Milburn who has taken a post with R. Radloff Engineering in Prince George.  Milburn will start his new job on Monday.

City Manager Derek Bates could not be reached for comment or details on Wells’ additional duties.

Well I guess he’s more than familiar with the PG plan. Buy it all.

That might be too much work and place him on stress leave.

Nah, he will just get an assistant unless he has one already. In tha case the assistant will get an assistant.
