Prince George, B.C. – Prince George RCMP are investigating a robbery that occurred on the Hart Highway last night.

Shortly after 10pm a male wearing a balaclava and swinging a baseball bat entered the Shooters Liquor Store on Monterey Road. He smashed some bottles with the bat, grabbed some money out of the till and fled.

The clerk in the store told police that the thief got into a grey car and drove north. Several officers converged on the area but at last word no one had been taken into custody in connection with the robbery.
