Recreational Properties Targets for Break Ins
Cluculz Lake, B.C.- Some property owners on Cluculz Lake went to their recreational properties on the long weekend only to find they had fallen victim to a break in.
"There were two break ins reported last week" says North District RCMP Media Liaison Constable Lesley Smith "In both cases, the windows had been tampered with, but entry was gained by kicking in a door."
Constable Smith says liquor was stolen from both buildings, as were DVDs, a DVD player and CD player.
These are the latest in a string of break ins in the Somerset Estates area of the lake. Earlier this year, two inflatable boats were stolen from one property.
"It’s important that owners of these recreational properties make sure everything is locked up, and if at all possible, that they not leave any valuables at these properties" says Cst. Smith.

A warning to the victims. No warning for the thieves. How appropriate. Carry on.
To all Home Owners, if you leave your Home for any Time even just Hours, remove all your Stuff and store it somewhere else.
I can’t help it , has this become a Country of Fear ??? IS this the best the RCMP can come up with it ?
It will come down to vigilante justice then watch how fast the police act! Our justice system has no teeth and these thieves know it.
Heh, heh, go ahead, there’ll be a ‘little’ surprise waiting for you there.
One of the Victims posted this ad along with a photo of the stripped kitchen on Kijiji, see the ad for more info:
