DBIA Budget Approved for 2012

Prince George, B.C.- The Downtown Business Improvement Association’s budget for 2012 has been approved by Prince George City Council.
With total revenue of $264,163 dollars ( of which $206, 663 is from the levy, $27,500 from the City for flowers, and $30 thousand from special events) the budget calls for $89,000 to be spent on General and administrative costs, including $47,500 for wages for the Manager, and $18,000 for rent and security.

· $4,000 website
· $1,000 luncheon hosting
· $500 memberships
Beautification:
· $12,500 Façade Improvement Partnerships
· $30,000 Clean Team
· $55,000 Flower Baskets
Crime Reduction
· $500 Graffiti program
Events Promotion and Marketing
· $35,000 Downtown Summerfest
· $ 5,000 Winterlicious
· $23,500 Advertising and promotion
Business Development
· $2,000 conference attendance
· $2,500 program development /promotion
Contingency
· $2163
