I have always hoped for a clear NDP majority and by all appearances that is going to finally happen. I have renewed confidence in BC as a Province of Canada. I am sure that Adrian can keep the tiller steady and guide the province to a new prosperity.

I am just glad the the BC liberals didn’t win. It should send a strong signal to them that they do not have a mandate to govern in BC anymore… I don’t think they have had a mandate since they lied last election and announced their HST plans only weeks after the election.

IMO we need to be on the watch now for the multinational give aways they will surely be doing prior to being stripped of their powers by the citizens of BC next election.

It was a foregone conclusion that the Liberals were not going to win either riding. The people of BC are fed up with the corrupt rudderless ship that is the government of Crispy Clark She’s going down in flames, and it will be highly revealing when the full-fledged inquiry into BC Rail comes to pass. Clark and the people who support her and supported Campbell are not fit to run a government. Oh and apparently Clark will not be commenting on the byelection results Friday. No jam. The surprising thing about these two votes is that the Conservatives finished third in both. They were thought to have second spot in Chilliwack at least. Looks like they need some re-working.

The Conservatives need to be something other than the BC Liberals under a different name. They’re too fossilised, same as Christy’s crowd is. The ‘right’ has to have something better to offer than just demonstrating once again they don’t know the difference between policies engendering inflation and those engendering prosperity for all. The NDP will always be around to represent poverty. And extend it, in their quest to reduce us to the lowest common denominator ~ their brand of ‘equality’. Their opponents to the right of center need to show how they can eliminate it.

YES It is about time. Now to just get the rest of the ridings won is all it will take. Should now be a genenral strike to force the rest of the campbell scum out of office permanently. After that comes the BCR inquiry and the extinquishment of HST. Things are looking up folks. Won’t be long now and NDP is going to take every riding in this province. Congradulations Adrian.
