Prince George, B.C. – The finalists in 13 categories have been chosen for the 2012 Prince George Regional Arts and Cultural Awards.

Those categories include environment, recognizing outstanding interior and exterior design,  arts advocacy, advertising for outstanding graphic design, fiction, non-fiction and visual arts. The remaining categories are dance, vocalist, best ensemble and finally, culinary arts.

In addition, Shirley Gratton, Anne Martin and Trelle Morrow will all receive this year’s Alice Box Memorial Award in recognition of their lifetime contributions in support of arts and culture in Northern B.C.

The winners will be named at the awards celebration, presented by the Prince George Community Arts Council and the Prince George Public Library, today at the Prince George Playhouse.
