Prince George, B.,C.- A Prince George man is facing several charges following a firearms complaint.

A search warrant was obtained for the residence and a loaded shotgun was seized.
The accused has been held in custody pending his court appearance.

How did the RCMP do their job properly without a functioning gun registry?
Easy! They already KNEW (from the eye witness report/complaint) that he had a gun! They didn’t have to consult any registry to find out whether or not he had one.
Besides, he had a firearm without a license and he wouldn’t have registered it in any case.
Very little to comment about in this story, very little info is presented. Any member who attends a complaint, be it spousal or other violence, goes in knowing full well there may be firearms involved.
The gun registry has never been something they rely on as so many people have unregistered firearms.
