50 Year Old In Hospital In Serious Condition

Prince George- A 50 year old man is in hospital in serious condition suffering from stab wounds.
Police were called to the 1500 block of Queensway at 10.20 last night were they found the man suffering from a life threatening stab wound to the chest. The victim remains listed as serious this morning following surgery overnight.
He was taken to UHNBC hospital, while at the same time a 30 year old Prince George man was arrested in connection with the stabbing. He remains in police custody and will be interviewed today prior to making a court appearance tomorrow. Charges have not been specified and depend on the condition of the victim.
An RCMP spokesperson says the two men are friends or acquaintances. The motive for the stabbing is not clear at this time.

Obviously an attempted murder! Slap on the wrist, more than likely.
Raise the penalty if he was stabbed while standing in a pot hole.
