Nachbaur Named to World Junior Coaching Staff

Prince George, BC – Prince George’s Don Nachbaur has been named assistant coach of Canada’s National Junior Team for the 2013 World Hockey Championships which start Boxing Day in Ufa, Russia.
Hockey Canada has announced Steve Spott with the OHL’s Kitchener Rangers will be head coach, the two other assistants joining Nachbaur will be Mario Duhamel of the QMJHL’s Drummondville Voltigeurs, and André Tourigny of the Q’s Rouyn-Noranda Huskies.
This will be Nachbaur’s first appearance with Canada’s National Junior Team. The 53-year-old has been head coach of the WHL’s Spokane Chiefs since the start of the 2010-11 season and has won two golds as an assistant coach with Canada’s National Men’s Summer Under-18 Team.

A good role model for PG and a great person all around IMO.
Would love to have Don coach the Cougars, if only the management team could be replaced.
