Terrace, B.C.- RCMP say there were no survivors of this morning’s helicopter crash near Terrace.
All three of the Bailey Helicopter employees aboard the aircraft died when the chopper crashed on Sleeping Beauty Mountain west of the city during a training mission.
SAR teams and the RCMP were airlifted to the site, but the weather and conditions on the mountain are proving difficult. The avalanche technician has declared the site unsafe and emergency crews have been pulled out for the time being. Rain and snow continue to fall in the region.
Once the site is deemed safe, RCMP say emergency crews will return to the site.
The crash will be investigated by the Transportation Safety Board.
