Gowan Leaves Spirit Of The North

Prince George- The CEO of the spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation has resigned effective June29th.
Don Gowan who had been the CEO over the past two years will take up a new position as Regional General Manager of Finning Canada.
Gowan says the decision to leave the Foundation was a very tough one but the opportunity to return to the private sector with a company like Finning was something that I could not say no to.
The board is forming a search committee to find a replacement for Gowan.

Finning? That reminds me of the scene in Ghostbusters where they were bounced out of a university and Ray lamented to Peter that the “private sector expects results”.
