Shot Fired, But Where’s the Victim?

Prince George, B.C.- RCMP are  hoping the public can help them find  the man who is beleived to have been the target of a  shooting.

Early this afternoon,  Prince George RCMP responded to a report of shots fired in the area of Oak Street and Diefenbaker Avenue in Prince George, BC. 

Witnesses in the area stated that they observed an unknown male who appeared to have been chased into a nearby wooded area by two other males. Witnesses believe they heard a single gun shot and then the two suspect males fled in a small blue car.

 

A thorough search of the area by a Police Service Dog failed to locate a victim. Further checks at the University Hospital of Northern BC were also negative.

 
Information led officers to locate a vehicle in the Hart area of the City, but it was found not to be involved.
 
The Prince George RCMP are requesting the public’s help in locating the possible victim in this incident. The male is described as:
 
  • Slim Male
  • Approximately 183 cm (6′)
  • Clean shaven head along the sides and back, longer and thicker on top
 
The suspect vehicle is described as:
 
  • Older model small car with a hatchback, possibly a Ford Focus or a Honda Civic
  • Blue in colour
 
The description of the suspects is not known at this time. The investigation is continuing.

We do not know who was shooting at whom from reading the article.

If the getaway car was a Nissan Leaf it might narrow the search.

the secret words here are: “fled into a wooded area” Wouldn’t it be a good idea for the RCMP togo into that wooded area and look?
