Prince George, BC – Prince George resident, Mike Nash, has been re-appointed to a two-year term on the BC Forest Practises Board…
Forests, Lands, and Natural Resource Operations Minister, Steve Thomson, announced the re-appointment of four board members earlier this week – three professional foresters, and Nash, an outdoorsman with an extensive history in forestry, wilderness conservation, and recreation matters in Northern BC.
Nash has participated in a range of natural resource planning, advisory, and steering committees and is the author of four books.
The Forest Practises Board is an independent watchdog group that monitors forest and range practises and reports its findings directly to the public and government.

What ever happened to the Forest Practices Code? Apparently it is no longer enforced and logging companies do what they want! I am amazed at how mining companies have the right to totally divert creeks etc to suit their needs.
