SD57 Gets Dollars for Energy Efficiencies

Wednesday, June 20, 2012 @ 3:55 AM
Prince George, B.C.- School District 57  is in line to receive nearly $385 thousand dollars from the Province for Capital Energy Efficiencies.

The money is nearly a mirrored amount of the dollars the School District has already paid to the Province for  Carbon Offsets in 2010 and 2011.

The School District hasn’t yet decided where the money ($384,802) will be spent but Secretary Treasurer Brian Mix says the money will go to good use.  “I have asked maintenance to identify all the projects that need to be done, everything from lighting upgrades to mechanical upgrades and to have that report ready for the next meeting of the Board.” Mix says the School District will have to submit a full report to the Ministry of Education on where the dollars are going.

Mix says he is hopeful the list of projects can be detailed for the   June Board meeting so that work can get underway right away.

Over the past two years, School District 57 has paid $342,462  towards carbon offsets.

Carbon offsets!? What a joke.

Carbon offsets where the middle man like Gore makes a fortune. How much did the SD pay in the fraudulent carbon tax compared to these so called savings?

The SD perpetuates this Co2 fraud by teaching false information to the unknowing.

Hey what is earth’s mean temperature supposed to be anyway?

Global Climate change is a reality. CO2 levels are at near historic highs and global average temperatures are rising.

Science is science. Measurement, recording is fact vs. opinion which is conveniently selective and uninformed.

The Carbon Tax is, in my view, a complete hoax and double taxation. The funds generated have been used to pay for PRIVATE companies benefit, for ex. Whistler projects. The money from public trust should never be taken from education to fund private companies’ interests.

Savvvy whats the global mean temerature?

Historic highs compared to what, when how long?

There is science then there is climate science, the two are not the same.

There is real world observations then there are computer programs, which one ya going to believe? Real world shows nothing out of the ordinary.
