Cash For Playground

Prince George, B.C.- The Aboriginal Choice School in Prince George is to receive $50 thousand dollars from the Provincial Government to upgrade its playground.
The money is part of $3.3 million that is being shared by 80 schools in the province to repair, improve and replace playgrounds.
This is the final phase of an $8-million playground funding commitment made last September, bringing the total number of schools benefiting from the two-year program to 227 provincewide.
The addition and renewal of playground equipment at schools throughout B.C. will help in the promotion of active and healthy lifestyles by ensuring students and communities have access to safe and modern playground facilities.

Wow! Mucho incentive to go into the “playground” business what with our government being laden with mucho dinero before the upcoming election.
Keep on buying votes Christy! Your great, great grandchildren will thank you when they realise exactly how much money they owe in taxes because of your lack of really caring about families!
It’s either this, or the dippers are whining about ‘no money for infrastructure and upkeep’.
You can’t win.
Or their other popular refrain, “It’s underfunded”.
